About James Shaw Photography

James Shaw started his passion with photography at the tender age of 8, when he was gifted his first Canon AE1 by a family member.

In later life James qualified as a Graphic Designer and spent the next 20 years working in the Advertising industry as Head of Photography and Graphic Designer.

Ten years ago James decided to open James Shaw photography which lets him specialise in weddings and sees him shoot up to 40 weddings per year through throughout the UK and even abroad.

Still linked to his Advertising roots 5 years ago James opened Shaw Studio which sees James shoot more commercial projects and has enabled him to work with some big names such as Joe Elliott from Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Arctic Monkeys, NYPD and a whole host of Blue-Chip companies.

James has had his work published in a number of publications as well as an exhibition in Times Square New York.

James has photographed and worked with people such as Joe Elliott from Def Leppard, Whitesnkae, Arctic Monkeys, NYPD, The Libertines and Rag N Bone Man

Wedding Photography workshop
